MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday each scored 34 points as the Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 123-115 on Saturday at Fiserv Forum.
Antetokounmpo finished 11/22 from the field and nailed one three-pointer in the win. He also recorded 17 rebounds and four assists. Holiday went 13/22 including 3/7 from long-range.
Brook Lopez added 21 points and Jordan Nwora scored 11 off the bench.
Trae Young scored the game-high 42 points in the losing effort.
Milwaukee stays perfect at 5-0 on the young season and will be off Sunday before hosting the Detroit Pistons Monday night in the first of two straight against their Central Division foe.
