MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks kept rolling with a 116-91 win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum. At 7-0, it ties the record for best start to a season with the teams from 1971-72 and 2018-19.
Despite another poor outside shooting the night the Bucks were able to pull down 15 offensive rebounds and score 24 second-chance points. They also had 17 steals in the game.
Giannis led the way with 32 points and 12 rebounds. That’ six straight games with over 30 points for the Greek Freak. Jrue Holiday had 26 and seven boards. Jordan Nwora had 12, Brook Lopez 11 and Bobby Portis just missed another double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Bucks also assigned Khris Middleton and MarJon Beauchamp to the G League’s Wisconsin Herd so they can get some practice time in in the next week or so. Middleton is getting closer to returning from his wrist surgery.
The Bucks are on the road Friday at Minnesota before returning home Saturday against Oklahoma City.
