City planners in Stevens Point will bring a proposal for a large retail development along US Highway 10 to the Plan Commission Monday evening.
The proposal calls for an expansion of a current retail location at 5601 US Highway 10, which currently houses Dunham’s Sports. The remainder of the building is vacant, and developers want to add another 9,600 square feet to the building.
That would accommodate space for another tenant, which is not named in the materials presented as part of Monday’s agenda packet. The developer is also looking to complete other improvements such as a new loading dock and a re-striping of the parking lot.
The area also includes a handful of fast-food restaurants and banks.
