TOWN OF RIB LAKE, WI (WSAU) — A single-vehicle crash killed one person in Taylor County on Sunday.
The crash was reported at about 8:50 PM by a resident who said they saw a vehicle wrapped around a utility pole. The person also reported that the driver was unresponsive.
Investigators say the vehicle was traveling north on County Road C when it left the roadway, rolled several times, and struck the pole.
The driver was identified as 32-year-old Daniel R. Resch of Ogema. Investigators add that alcohol and speed were likely factors in the incident.
