WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A man wanted for outstanding warrants in three counties was arrested in Lincoln County last week.
Sheriff’s officers were called to a residence in the Town of Scott after the property owner noticed a strange vehicle parked in their lot. Officers discovered a 36-year-old Glenwood City man passed out in the driver’s seat.
The investigation revealed that the man did not have a driver’s license and had consumed alcohol before driving the vehicle into the yard. He also had two knives on him at the time.
Officers arrested him for a second offense of OWI and operating with a revoked license. He will also face a count of carrying a concealed weapon.
The man’s name was not released. It’s unclear what other charges he was wanted for and in what counties.
