MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The #3 ranked Wisconsin womens hockey team knocked off #1 ranked Minnesota 4-1 on Sunday afternooon in front of a sell-out crowd at LaBahn arena.
Nicole LaMantia, Sarah Wozniewicz, Kirsten Simms and Jesse Compher each had a goal for the Badgers.
Cami Kromish had 26 saves.
Wisconsin, now 11-2-1, 8-1-0 in WCHA, will be off until December 2nd when they head to Bemidji State.
The #3 ranked Wisconsin volleyball team beat #14 ranked Penn State in five sets on Saturday night. The scores were 25-19, 22-25,25-23, 18-25 and 15-12. They have won 16 straight matches.
Devyn Robinson had 17 kills and nine blocks. Danielle Hart had 13 kills and eight blocks.
Izzy Ashburn had 29 assists and MJ Hammill added 18.
Wisconsin, now 23-3, 17-1 in Big Ten, will play at #6 ranked Nebraska on Friday night.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team dropped a 62-57 decision on the road at Illinois State on Sunday.
Wisconsin trailed for most of the game but cut the deficit to four before falling short.
Serah Williams led the way with 16 points, and eight rebounds. Julie Pospisilova had 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
The Badgers head to the US Virgin Islands for three games. They will play Georgia on Nov 24th, Seton Hall on Nov 25 and VCU on the 26th
