MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin football team lost their appeal on the targeting call against Nick Herbig from last Saturday’s game vs Nebraska.
Herbig was ejected from the game for a hit on Cornhusker QB Casey Thompson. He will have to sit out the first half of this Saturday’s game vs Minnesota.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team has lost junior guard Halle Douglass for the rest of the season.
She injured her knee in Sunday’s game.
Douglass is one of three team captains and a key bench player for the Badgers.
Wisconsin returns to action Thursday vs Georgia in the US Virgin Islands.
The Wisconsin mens basketball team plays Dayton today in the Bahamas..pre game show at 12:30 on WSAU.
