MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Washington Wizards 118-95 on Sunday.
Bobby Portis led the Bucks with 19 points and ten boards as the team played without F Giannis Antetokounmpo who sat out with knee soreness. Jevon Carter added 14 points, and Grayson Allen chipped in 13.
Rookie MarJon Beauchamp scored 11 points coming off the bench. Both AJ Green and Pat Connaughton added 10.
Despite those efforts, the Bucks couldn’t keep up with the Wizards from the field. Washington shot 53% from the field. Milwaukee shot just 35%.
Milwaukee falls to 23-13 on the season. Washington is now 17-21. The same two teams will play again on Tuesday at Fiserv Forum.
