WESTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A Weston man is facing multiple counts of sexually assaulting a child at the daycare center where he worked.
Shawn Wilde has been charged with multiple counts of child sexual assault.
Officers say the victim informed her parents that Wilde inappropriately touched her during a game he created, which she said he’s been playing for a while.
The report claims that the victim, another child, and Wilde all went to the basement to have a Gatorade and play the game. Wilde allegedly covered the victim with a blanket and inappropriately touched her.
The victim said Wilde would occasionally stop to get a camera and started recording or would take photos of the children with props like flowers and sunglasses and in a variety of poses.
The 23-year-old is charged with two counts of first-degree child sexual assault, sexual contact with a child, and one count of child enticement. He could face up to 145 years in prison.
Wilde’s next court appearance is Thursday.
