WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Wausau Police have arrested Bill Ferrario, a former Green Bay Packers Offensive Lineman after three domestic disturbance calls over the past three weeks were made at a Wausau home
The most recent incident happened on January 3rd. According to police Ferrario went to his home and was locked out. He allegedly began throwing items and tried to enter through the garage. Two women inside called police, saying they feared for their safety. He was arrested for one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct involving domestic abuse.
Ferrario appeared in Marathon County Court on Wednesday and entered a not guilty plea. He is now free on a $1,500 bond, and a restraining order has been issued. He’s also been told to maintain absolute sobriety while the case is pending.
In two earlier police calls, a woman at the home claimed Ferrario grabbed her by the wrist. She declined to press charges at the time.
A day before his arrest, Ferrario was intoxicated and argumentative at the home. Police took him to a hotel for the night without filing charges.
He is also facing an unrelated drunk driving charge from a crash last October where he had to be extracted from his vehicle.
His next court appearance is February 8.
