ANTIGO, WI (WSAU) — Recreation officials in Langlade County have announced that they will be opening snowmobile trails in Zone B Friday at 6 AM.
According to their latest report trail conditions in that zone are in good to excellent condition. Zone A trails, which have been open, are listed in fair to good shape with some icy patches reported.
Those hitting the trails are also asked to be aware of ice falling from trees. Additionally, all lake and river trails should be considered unsafe.
Officials add that Zone A trails are now open for ATVs, and Zone B trails will open to ATV riders on January 30th. The trails are only open for those vehicles when the temperature is below 28 degrees.
UTVs are never allowed on the trails due to their size.
