WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WRN) — China and U.S. defense officials insist an unmanned balloon drifting across the country is not a threat; assertions congressman Mike Gallagher isn’t buying.
“The balloon, in my opinion, should have been shot down before it even made it into U.S. airspace. Now that it’s over the U.S. we need to take it down safely to prevent further collection near some of our most sensitive military installations.”
Gallagher says Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s decision to cancel a trip to China is the right move.
