LOS ANGELES, CA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks have won ten in a row for the first time since the 2019-20 season after a 119-106 win over the LA Clippers on Friday.
Brook Lopez led the way with a double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds while Giannis Antetokounmpo led the scoring charge with 35 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Jrue Holiday chipped in 19 points.
Jevon Carter scored 13 points off the bench, MarJon Beauchamp added 10.
Jae Crowder did not play in the game after being acquired in a trade on Thursday. He is expected to join the team in Milwaukee this weekend.
The win secures Milwaukee’s first two-game season sweep of the Clippers since 2019-20.
At 39-17, Milwaukee is now one game behind Boston for the best record in the Eastern Conference. Their next action is Tuesday against the Celtics at Fiserv Forum, in what will likely be Crowder’s debut.
