Marquette Golden Eagles
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Marquette mens basketball team beat Xaiver 69-68 on a last second tip-in on Wednesday Night at Fiserv Forum.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper hit the shot that kept the 11th ranked Golden Eagles in first place in the Big East Conference.
Prosper scored seven points, all in the last five minutes of the game. The Golden Eagles were led by Stevie Mitchell with 17 points. Tyler Kolek had 15 and Oso Ighodaro 14.
Marquette is now 21-6, 13-3 in the Big East and will play at Creighton on Tuesday.
