MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Your 2022 income tax refund might be a bit smaller than in years past.
IRS Spokesman Christopher Miller says many benefits programs that offered money have tapered off.
“There was no stimulus payments, and there was no larger Child Tax Credit. In addition, the Child and Dependent Care Credit goes back to the normal level.” said Miller.
The automatic charitable donation deduction was also eliminated for 2022.
