WESTON, WI (WSAU) — A Powerball ticket sold at a Weston grocery store is worth $50,000.
Lottery officials have confirmed that the ticket was sold at Festival Fresh Express at 6205 Business 51 and matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball in Wednesday’s drawing.
The $50,000 prize represents the third-highest payout for the game. The only two prizes above it are a $1 million payout for hitting all five white balls and the jackpot.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were 21, 24, 33, 55, and 69. The Powerball was 3.
The person holding that winning ticket has 180 days to claim their prize.
Lottery officials remind residents that they can check their tickets at home using the new Wisconsin Lottery app.
