WESTON, WI (WSAU) — Those who drive on Camp Phillips Road in Weston will be disrupted this week for a resurfacing and utility project.
Crews will be resurfacing the road between Schofield Avenue and Highway 29. Work includes grinding the concrete surface and replacing it with an asphalt surface, replacing deteriorated joints, and adjustments to water and sewer infrastructure.
The closure is expected to last one week. The official detour will take traffic from Highway 29 to County Road J and Schofield Avenue. Minimal access points will be maintained for those needing access to homes and businesses.
Those who do need to access their homes should use alternate routes when possible and expect delays in the area, as the work zone conditions will change frequently.
Marathon County is handling the project as the road. The road, also known as County Road X, falls under county jurisdiction.
