MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — As we hit the road for the Memorial Day holiday, gas prices in Wisconsin are up but not close to where they were a year ago.
Triple A puts our statewide average Friday at $3.57 a gallon, up 12 cents from last week.
But a year ago, the average price in Wisconsin was $4.34 a gallon.
The Fond du Lac area has the lowest price, at $3.44 a gallon.
Kenosha County has the highest at $3.72 a gallon.
The National Average is $3.57.
