STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Over half the field has been cut at the 2023 US Senior Open at SentryWorld in Stevens Point.
Germany’s Bernard Langer leads the field after round two. He shot a 68 on Friday, putting him at -3 for the tournament after his opening-round 71. Langer will be the last to tee off today at about 12:49 PM, playing in a twosome with Australia’s Rod Pampling who is in second place at -2 after he shot a one-over 72 on Friday.
Wisconsin’s own Jerry Kelly is part of a three-way tie for third at -1. He will tee up at 12:29 PM alongside another Wisconsinite, Steve Stricker, who is at even par going into the final two rounds.
South Africa’s Retief Goosen and Dicky Pride of the USA are also part of that tie for 3rd. They are also paired together for the third round.

The cut line was established at +9, representing the 60 lowest golfers and ties. A total of 66 players made it to the third and fourth rounds. The original field included 156 golfers.
