(REESEVILLE, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — There are no reports of any injuries or any spills after a Canadian Pacific train derailed in Dodge County yesterday.
The sheriff’s office says 29 cars jumped the tracks just outside of Reeseville. Canadian Pacific says the cars were carrying wheat, seed, and bentonite clay. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the scene is a mess, but he said it could have been a lot worse.
No one is saying just how long it will take to figure out what caused the derailment, or how long it will take to clean-up the wreck.
