MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) — The Milwaukee Brewers are getting some good news on a pair of injured players.
Curt Hogg with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff could rejoin the rotation after two more rehab starts. He went 1-and-0 with a 0.79 ERA before suffering a shoulder injury.
Rowdy Tellez is also close to returning. Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports the slugger will resume swinging a bat as soon as tomorrow. Tellez is recovering from a fractured finger and has 12 homers this season.
