MAUI, HI (WSAU) — The bracket for this year’s Maui Jim Maui Invitational has been released, with Marquette drawing a PAC 12 opponent.
The Golden Eagles will face national power UCLA in the last game of the opening round. That game will tip at 10:30 PM CT from the islands and will be broadcast on ESPN 2.
The winner of that game will play either Kansas or Chaminade University in the second round. The Silverswords are a Division II school that hosts the annual tournament, which was born out of their famous upset of Virginia back in 1982.
The remaining two matchups have Purdue taking on Gonzaga and Tennessee playing Syracuse.
Marquette is guaranteed three games in the tournament, with each matchup dictated by the previous day’s results.
