MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — The latest Marquette Law School poll shows little change in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
The national poll released Thursday found former President Donald Trump ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, 46% to 22% among registered Republican voters and independents who said they lean Republican.
That shows a slight increase in Trump’s lead over DeSantis from the May poll, in which the margin was 46% to 25%.
Former Vice President Mike Pence came in third behind Trump and DeSantis with 7%.
In hypothetical general election matchups, Trump and Democratic President Joe Biden were tied at 50% each, while DeSantis led Biden 51% to 48%.
