GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Congressman Mike Gallagher wants greater American military presence in the Pacific.
Speaking last week at an event in Iowa, the Green Bay Republican claimed the Biden administration isn’t taking a hard enough stance against China.
“Now that we are no longer bound by certain treaties that prevent us from deploying key rockets and munitions and missile systems, we need to take advantage of that in order to surge hard power to the Indo Pacific before it’s too late,” said Gallagher.
Gallagher also claimed the weak U.S. presence in Europe allowed the Russian invasion of Ukraine and that the U.S. needs to prevent an invasion of Taiwan.
