Fire Training This Afternoon in Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The Stevens Point Fire Department will be teaming up with other local first responders to conduct a training exercise this afternoon and evening.

Crews from Stevens Point, Hull, and Plover will gather at a home located at 3383 Hoover Road. Residents should expect to see several fire vehicles in the area along with smoke coming from the building.

Fire officials are asking the public to avoid the area if possible, and to not be alarmed by the activity.
