DATCP is recruiting for an Agricultural Impact Statement Program Manager/ Conservation Land Use Specialist to join our team!
Major responsibilities include:
- Preparation and publication of Agricultural Impact Statements (AIS) for public projects including highways, transmission lines, pipelines, airports, and other non-linear projects that affect farm operations in Wisconsin;
- liaising with project initiators, federal and state agencies, the Wisconsin Public Service Commission, and citizens on matters related to the AIS program;
- supporting conservation and land use compliance for the Farmland Preservation program, assisting with technical assistance and outreach for the Farmland Preservation program;
- supporting the Land and Water Conservation Board’s advisory committee on research.
