MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — As Republican presidential candidates prepare to debate in Milwaukee tonight, the city’s mayor gives notice to protesters
“You can express yourself, have your first amendment rights, show that you are displeased with the candidate or their opinions, but those things must be orderly,” said Mayor Cavalier Johnson. “We will not condone any destruction of property or any harm to people. If you do, there will be arrests that are made.”
Mayor Johnson said Milwaukee police have plans in place for protests outside Fiserv Forum, where the debate will occur.
