MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks are at a crossroads with their superstar.
Giannis Antetokounmpo told the New York Times yesterday that he doesn’t plan to sign an extension with the team until next summer. However, the former NBA champion said, “I would not be the best version of myself if I don’t know that everybody’s on the same page, everybody’s going for a championship… and if I don’t feel that, I’m not signing.”
The two-time MVP is heading into the third season of a five-year, 228-million-dollar supermax extension.
