MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Assembly Speaker Robin Vos talks impeachment, if newly elected state Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz doesn’t recuse from lawsuits over Republican drawn electoral maps
“My hope is we still will see the Supreme Court justices who have prejudged cases saying ‘that’s not right, it’s not the way our system of justice in America has ever operated where you pre judge a case’ and that they will recuse themselves from any potential case where they would be involved,” said Vos.
Protasiewicz never said how she’d rule on the maps during her campaign, or whether she’d recuse herself. Vos said if she doesn’t, Assembly Republicans will discuss next steps.
