MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers announced a multi-year partnership with Northwest Mutual and will be debuting their first-ever partnered jersey patch.
According to WTMJ, the Brewers stated during a conference on Friday morning that Northwest Mutual, which has been headquartered in Milwaukee for more than a century, will be front and center on Brewers jerseys in the team’s signature navy blue and white.
The Brewers and Northwestern Mutual are expanding their respective affiliations with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), an organization dedicated to assisting children with cancer research and their families.
Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger stated that partnership will help the team remain competitive, saying, “Every dollar that comes in, Mark [Attanasio] says, is going to be used for putting the best team on the field, enhancing the experience, keeping and retaining our best employees, and making sure the ballpark is great.”
Milwaukee will begin wearing the patches tonight as they are set to start a three-game series against the Washington Nationals at American Family Field. The first pitch will be at 7:10 p.m.
