MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers stifled the Cardinals 3-0 to win their series from Milwaukee.
Corbin Burnes got the start and struck out four batters over four innings while Julio Teheran earned the win after allowing just one hit over four innings of relief. Christian Yelich went two-for-three with an RBI while William Contreras also drove in a run. Ethan Small notched his first career save in the ninth as Milwaukee improved to 90-and-69.
The Brewers have already clinched the NL Central division title. The team hosts the Cubs tonight for the final series of the regular season. Pre game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
