RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) — Verizon customers in Oneida County are currently cut off from 911 service.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, the dispatch center is having difficulty connecting with those who call the county’s 911 and non-emergency lines.
Those with Verizon service that require help should call from a landline phone or another non-Verizon cell phone to get through to dispatch.
Officers add that Verizon is working to get the service restored as quickly as possible.
