MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Big Ten and its media partners have announced network assignments for the upcoming men’s and women’s basketball season, including games that will be streamed on NBC’s Peacock service.
Wisconsin has drawn five such games starting with their November 10th date against Tennessee at the Kohl Center. Tip time for that game has been scheduled for 8 PM. Wisconsin’s Big Ten opener against Michigan State in East Lansing will also stream on Peacock starting at 6 PM.
The Badgers will have three additional games on the service in late February including home dates with Ohio State on the 13th, Maryland on the 20th, and a February 27th road contest at Indiana. There will also be three games on broadcast TV including the Wisconsin/Marquette game in Madison on December 2nd (FOX) and both games against Purdue; at home on February 4th (CBS), and the regular season finale in West Lafayette on March 10th (FOX).
Two women’s basketball games are also included in the Peacock package including a January 16th game between Wisconsin and last year’s national runner-up Iowa and a February 14th home date with IU.
Peacock will also carry this Saturday’s Badger football game against Rutgers. Next week’s football game against Iowa has been picked up by FOX for a 3 PM kickoff.
All B1G games on Peacock will require a paid subscription and will not be available to those using the service’s free, ad-supported tier.
WSAU will carry the play-by-play of all Badger football and MBB games each season regardless of television network assignment.
