WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Wausau Police have announced the arrest of a 42-year-old man in connection with a shooting incident near the M & R Station two weeks ago.
Officers were called to the west side tavern on September 20th at about 1:40 AM. The first officer to arrive noticed a group of people fighting in the parking lot, including one person who appeared to have a gun. He turned himself in on October 4th. Wausau Police have recommended numerous charges against him including being a felon in possession of a firearm, recklessly endangering safety, possession of a stolen handgun, and possession of a firearm on a premise where alcohol is consumed.
