KENOSHA, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — A church group from Wisconsin is safely out of Israel.
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee reports 33 people from two Kenosha Catholic parishes on a pilgrimage to Christian holy sites in and around Israel are safe, after making it out of the country on Monday.
In a phone call which was shared with parishioners, St. Mary Catholic Church pastor Father Roman Stikel said the group made it across the border into Jordan, and may remain there for a day or two before heading home to Wisconsin.
