MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing woman who was last seen back in August.
According to a press release, Claudine Leibl, 61, was set to travel from Montana to North Dakota to visit family back on August 23rd to visit family in the area but never arrived. Her family says that she was meant to return to Wisconsin in early September but never arrived home either.

Police also report that her phone has been inactive and she has not attempted to contact family or friends at this point. She was driving a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with a Wisconsin license plate of AAF4135 when she left for the trip.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone with information on Leibl’s whereabouts contact them at 715-421-8700.
