NEW ORLEANS, LA (WSAU) – Trevor Lawrence threw a 44-yard touchdown pass to Christian Kirk late in the fourth quarter as the Jaguars fended off the Saints 31-24 on Thursday Night Football in New Orleans.
Lawrence connected with Kirk on the go-ahead touchdown with just over three minutes left in the game. Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 53 yards and two scores to help Jacksonville improve to 5-and-2. Foyesade Oluokun added a 24-yard pick-six to lead the Jaguars’ defense.
Derek Carr threw for 301 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the losing effort. The Saints have lost four of their last five to slip to 3-and-4.
