TOMAHAWK, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A fire in downtown Tomahawk re-ignited Thursday morning and is still burning as many fire crews battle the flames that have caused considerable damage to two buildings, including a Mexican restaurant.
According to sources at the scene, century 21 is nearly destroyed and the Mexican restaurant has sustained substantial damage. As many teams battle the fire, smoke continues from the buildings continue to grow. A firefighter on the scene stated that 2,000 gallons of water per minute are being utilized to extinguish the flames.
Tomahawk, Minocqua, Russell, Pine River, and other fire departments are on the scene.
