TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said on Thursday he will prod companies to achieve wage hikes in 2024 that exceed levels seen this year.
“We hope to ensure that growth in household income exceeds the pace of inflation around summer next year,” Kishida told a news conference.
