MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Now’s the time to start getting your 2023 tax forms in order.
IRS Spokesman Christopher Miller says you want to make sure you’ve got all your W-2s and other income ready to report.
“That includes income from unemployment, digital assets, and even part time or gig economy work,” said Miller. “Unless it’s specifically excluded by law, you need to include all those things in income.”
Miller says you also should consider your charitable donations, and check to see if your yearly giving will outpace the new standard deduction for all filers.
