STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A Portage County man who is facing nearly three dozen felony counts for possessing child porn may have reached a plea deal with the state.
A judge has scheduled a plea hearing for Corbyn Lorbiecki on December 14th for 32 counts of possession of child pornography. Charges stem from a search of his devices, which turned up hundreds of images and videos in a cloud drive.
Police in Plover say they received a tip about the files in mid-July. They obtained a search warrant for his devices on July 17th and arrested the 27-year-old a few days later.
They were also able to link Lorbiecki to the account through images of himself that were stored in the cloud.

If found guilty he faces up to 25 years in prison for each count and thousands in fines.
