MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks scored 43 points in the first quarter and sent the Detroit Pistons to their 23rd consecutive loss with a 146-114 win on Saturday night at Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks played without starters Khris Middleton and Malik Beasley in the win.
Damian Lilliard had 33 points to lead Milwaukee. Giannis added 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Those assists give him 3500 for his career , just the 170th player in NBA history to hit that mark.
Bobby Portis had a big game with 31 points and 12 rebounds. Marjon Beauchamp had 11.
The Bucks ran their record to 18-7 with the win.
Meanwhile, on Sunday the Bucks extended their winning streak after cruising to a 128-119 win over the Rockets at Fiserv Forum.
Damian Lillard led all scorers with 39 points and dished out 11 assists for a double-double. Giannis Antetekounmpo sunk 26 points and grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds as Milwaukee won its fourth straight game.
Khris Middleton had 20 points while Brook Lopez had 18 and Bobby Portis added 11
The Bucks are still first in the Central Division at 19-and-7 and will host the Spurs on Tuesday.
