CHARLOTTE, NC (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers broke a 30-30 tie on Anders Carlson’s 32-yard field goal with 19-seconds left to hold on for a 33-30 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina rallied from 15 point down in the fourth quarter, and was marching for a potential game-typing field goal when time ran out.
Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes as the Packers broke a 2-game losing streak. Love was 17-of-28 for 219 yards. Aaron Jones, 127 yards on 21 carries, was the first Packer to go over 100 yards rushing this season.
The Packers had three three-and-outs in the second half. Bryce Young threw for 312 yards, a career high since joining the Panthers. The Packers offense was much sharper in the first half, scoring on their first four possessions to build a 23-10 halftime lead.
The Packers are now 7-8 on the season, and have kept their playoff hopes alive. The Packers remain one game behind the Seahawks and Rams. The Packers have games remaining on the road next week against the Vikings, and at home against the Bears.
