MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team moved up four spots to number 11 in the country in the latest AP poll.
The Badgers (13-3) are fresh off a 71-63 victory over Northwestern and have not lost a game since December 9th to the former number-one ranked team in the country, Arizona.
Wisconsin is 5-0 against Big Ten teams this season and is being led by off-season transfer A.J. Storr, who is averaging 14.8 points and three rebounds.
Meanwhile, Marquette continues to slide in the latest poll, dropping six spots from last week to number 17 in the country following their 69-62 loss to Butler. The Golden Eagles are just 2-3 in Big East play this season and have lost three out of their last five games, which was highlighted by former All-American Tyler Kolek’s offensive struggles, scoring only 7 points in their last two games and shooting 2-19 (38%) from the field.
