MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks are considering a trade for Dejounte Murray, a star guard for the Atlanta Hawks, according to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and NBA on TNT.
Haynes reports that the Bucks are among the “multiple” interested parties, and the Hawks “are in the exploratory phase of trading Murray.”

Murray’s averages per game include 21.0 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.1 defensive rebounds. He has a $18.2 million cap charge this season and is in the last year of a four-year contract.
The Bucks do not have much draft capital to trade after the Damian Lillard trade, so by moving bench players like Bobby Portis and Pat Connaughton, whose combined cap hits total a little over $20 million, Milwaukee would be able to match Murray’s pay.
