MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks will have two representatives in the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend’s 3-point competition in Indianapolis.
Tyrese Haliburton, Damian Lillard, Jalen Brunson, Lauri Markkanen, and Malik Beasley are “among the commitments for the three-point contest,” according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, with the chance of additional entries.
Beasley is currently one of the top three-point shooters in the NBA, shooting 45.1% from three, while his teammate and reigning 3-point competition champion Damian Lillard is shooting only 34.7% from deep this season, which is below his career average of 37.1%.
Both will be looking to make Bucks history as the franchise has not had a player win the 3-point competition since former star Ray Allen won back in 2001.
