WAUPACA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A man at a Dollar General in Waupaca accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Police officers responded to the store around 7:30pm on Thurday.
When they got there, they determined the man was trying to adjust his concealed carry firearm while getting back into his vehicle, when the gun went off into his leg. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No one else was injured.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
