NEW HAVEN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A Wisconsin Dells man has been arrested and is facing multiple felony charges after police say he stabbed an elderly man in the neck.
Police were called to a home in New Haven just before 11pm on Thursday, February 15th.
The caller allegedly told police he had been stabbed by another man, identified as Michael Archambault, 39, of Wisconsin Dells, who had fled the scene by the time police arrived.
The victim was taken to UW Hospital in Madison via life-flight for his injuries and ultimately recovered.
Police say they tracked Archambault to a home in the Town of Jackson. He was taken into custody without incident.
Archambault is being charged with Aggravated Battery and First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
He was given a $10,000 bond.
