MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers have found their next defensive line coach after losing Gregg Scruggs to Michigan earlier this month.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the Wisconsin Badgers have hired E.J. Whitlow, the former defensive line coach for the Air Force, to be their next defensive line coach.
Whitlow, who has coached with the Air Force for the past two seasons, helped the team finish as the nation’s top total defense in 2022. That same season, the team also ranked second in passing defense and sixth in running defense.
Before joining Air Force’s coaching staff, Withlow was a coach at Miami (OH), helped develop eight All-Conference players, and was a member of the school’s 2019 MAC Championship team.
