WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The threat of thunderstorms has washed out the first Concert on the Square in Wausau tonight.
Wausau Events has moved the show to the Rothschild Pavillion, according to a news release.
“The safety of all attendees, vendors and volunteers is always our first priority”, says Alissandra Aderholdt, Executive Director for Wausau Events. “We are thankful to the Village of Rothschild and Intercity State Bank for making tonight’s shift in venue space possible.”
Concertgoers should park in the adjacent lot and bring their own folding chairs for seating. Carry-ins will be allowed but will be subject to inspection. Wausau Events will still have food vendors on site for the show.
Hyde will take the stage from 6 to 8 PM.
